I recently got Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit for my PS3 because I am a big fan of the DBZ anime series and since I haven’t played a DBZ fighting game since the first ones that were released for the PS2 and Gamecube. Since I thought this game would be good I decided to pick it up and give it a try. Now this game has a Story Mode, VS. Mode, Online VS. Mode, and Training. If this would be you first DBZ fighting game then you should do the training to get use to the game, even people that have played old DBZ games before should go through the training so they can go over the buttons and try out everything before getting to the Story Mode or playing against someone, you also get something from doing the Training Mode. Now this game for the Xbox 360 and PS3 game is kinda short it doesn’t complete the whole DBZ saga but it’s still a great game for a what it offers in the story mode because they add some characters from two movies and add those scenes to the Story Mode.

You don’t get a lot of characters to play with especially coming from the other DBZ games but that was fine since the game still played out fine. Now one of the only problems I had is that when playing through the Story Mode the computer player always blocked a lot and that kinda got annoying, and after a while of fighting them you get used to what there going to do. Now online mode is great you can invite your friends to play and even play with other people around the world. Now one of the only problems that I had from the online play is that a lot of people were lagging when playing online, maybe it’s because sometimes I was playing against people from other countries but the game does tell you how good the connection of your opponent is so you can decide if you want to play or not. This is a great DBZ game, fans of the anime series won’t be disappointed and it’s also a great fighting game that you can play with friends offline or online and something for a Fighting game fans to play until Soul Calibur 4 comes out.

As I was looking through some PS3 games that I was thinking of buying I came across The Eye of Judgment and I was looking if it was cheaper at any of the many places they sell it. I came to the Circuit City’s website and I checked it there and its $39.99 that’s the same exact price as if you were to get the PlayStation Eye by it self. You can check out the Circuit City page for The Eye of Judgment with the PlayStation Eye here and the PlayStation Eye by itself here. That’s $25 dollars off The Eye of Judgment pack and it’s like you get the Eye of Judgment game for free.

So if you ever wanted to get a PlayStation Eye then this is a great deal for a free game even if you don’t like it you can give it to someone who might want it that already has the PlayStation Eye or maybe you can give it a try and might like it. When I saw this deal I though it was good so I decided to pick it up at my local Circuit City and they had it at the same price and will talk about it soon after I get a chance to play it. Even if your local Circuit City doesn’t have it at the same price they should be able to put it at the same price as there website also if you don’t have a Circuit City near you maybe other stores might price match it so you can get it at the same price I think Best Buy does the price matching too so you can try there.

Recently I finished up Half-Life 2 Episode 1 & 2 on the Xbox 360 version of the Orange Box. I have played Episode 1 before on the PC when it first came out but decided to play it again to play it all in order so the story can make sense and I can remember what I played before.

Now the controls are the same as the Original Half-Life 2 that I played earlier and I already knew what happened in Episode 1 but I was waiting to see what would happen in Episode 2. Episode 2 is longer than 1, which is good, but Episode 2 stops at a place where there’s going to be a sequel or another episode and of course after playing through through all of the games that have been released so far I want to see how it ends and what happens after the 2nd episode ends.

Maybe Valve will reveal more about Episode 3 this week at E3; we will see. Usually Valve takes its time with its games to make sure they’re good, so it might be a while until it comes out.

Yea I stood in line for a 3G iPhone not for me but for my bro since we wanted to get one for a while now and just waited for the 3G version because its faster and cheaper. I am planning on getting a new iPhone but maybe later ill check out my bro’s to see if there’s really that much difference. Me and my bro took turns staying in line while staying there overnight. Kinda funny because more people came later on at night and then some came as soon as it was 6am. AT&T has a way for them to process the buying faster they first would ask which iPhone did you want, the size and color and they checked to see if you qualified for a iPhone, the first person in line didn’t qualify and went home after staying there overnight, sucks for that guy. Before they let the people in to get the phone the ABC News Station from LA showed up to interview some people and were taking shots of the people in line we might even show up on TV today. They let like 12 people in at one time after they did the qualification thing. When we were let in we went to a station where someone would help us activate service and activate the phone through iTunes it went by fast the only time it kinda took a while was when they guy who helped us out didn’t know what to do and had to ask a manager. I was surprised that almost all the people that went to get a iPhone are new to the iPhone, Learned about this when the Camera-guy for the ABC station asked who is getting the iPhone for the first time, i guess the new features convinced them to get it this time.

Recently I got the Xbox 360 Chatpad. The Chatpad is a mini keyboard that you can attach to the bottom of your Xbox 360 controller. I gotta say when I first got it I thought it made the controller bigger since it was attached to the bottom of the controller and I thought I would have to take it out when was playing some game.

After leaving it on and playing games, it really didn’t bother me like I thought it would of so after a while I got used to it and forgot it was there kinda like if it was part of the controller. The keyboard is great for sending messages to your friends when you want to do it fast because your playing a multiplayer game. I use it when my Wireless headset runs out of power and still gotta talk to my friends. Its also great when putting in some information to the console like for example a address or a code from a prepaid card it will work so it’s pretty cool. It’s great, you will get use to it and it’s not that expensive at $20 dollars I think it’s worth it.

Earlier today Harmonix announced on the Rock Band website that they are releasing Rock Band 2 later this year. Now a lot of gaming sites already talked about that there were making Rock Band 2 but they haven’t officially announced it until now. Now this time around Harmonix will be adding more game modes and improving the drum sets with more realistic ones kinda because what they saw Guitar Hero doing and Improving both the Guitar and the Drums sets so they won’t break as easy as the first game did. Now one of the great things from learning that they are making a new Rock Band is that they have manage to make Rock Band 1 downloadable songs work on the new Rock Band 2 so there won’t be any re downloading and all the new songs they release every week will work with both games. Now one of the bad parts is that it seems that they will release it first for the Xbox 360 in September while other systems like the PS3, PS2, and Wii will have to wait til later. Which of course affects me because I own a PS3 Version of the first Rock Band but I guess I don’t have to complain because I probably will be playing the new Guitar Hero or another game so they can just take there time so it can work. Overall I’m really excited can’t wait for the new Rock Band.

Earlier Sony on there Playstation Blog talked about the new firmware update and all of the things that was going to be included. If you want to know what they talked about you can go check out there blog by clicking here. Now one of the main things they talked about was the ability to use the XMB (Xross Media Bar) while playing a game. Now while playing a game you will be able to respond to messages without having to quit the game, listen to music from your PS3 Hard Drive, and change a few settings like for example setting up your Bluetooth headset so you can use it when playing a multiplayer game. You can learn more about the features on the Playstation Blog. Now things are limited to this like for example you can’t start a chat with a friend or you can use the XMB when playing a PS1 or PS2 game but Sony did say they will try to see if they can add it to firmware updates down the line so that’s always good.

One of the other things is the addition of Trophies, just like Achievement Points on the Xbox 360 you will get Trophies when you play games on your PS3. The only bad part to that is, that if you already played a game you will need to play it again if the company that made the game decides to add Trophies to there game so you can get the trophies which kinda sucks but I guess it’s understandable but people might not want to do it and might get mad because they already did all the hard parts and probably don’t want to do it again. The first game to start supporting it is Super Stardust HD so if you have it, you can start earning trophies when you get the update. Sony has said that this Wednesday July 2 the update will be released so you won’t have to wait a long time. Check out the Playstation Blog on the link I provided above to learn more about the update and some other features I didn’t talk about and check out some videos from Sony.

Now this time around I decided to play the Playstation 3 version of the game to see if there any differences, and really there isn’t really that much differences except that the PS3 version looks alot darker, they make you install some data to the PS3 hard drive, and some of the building or things around the character loads faster than the Xbox 360 version but other than those things it’s the exact same game. Now playing this time around I did the opposite of what I did on the first time I played the game and it came out with different results sometimes better sometimes worse. For example if I decide to do the last missions of the game differently, one way, you do a mission with a motorcycle and a helicopter and if I do it the other way you do it with a boat and a helicopter plus also people get affected different ways. This time around I beat the game in 21 hours, I beat it the first time in 27 hours so I beat it the second time 6 hours faster. I guess it’s because I knew what I was going to do, so that’s why I did it faster but some of the differences the game offered me for choosing differently maybe added more time like the final mission. So for anyone that really liked GTA IV should really play through it again so you can see the different scenes that you didn’t choose the first time. Oh and Rockstar recently patched up the game on both consoles so they can fix some of the problems the game was having so make sure to update.

Today the Wii got two updates, one update was for the Nintendo Channel and the other was for the Wii Menu. Now the update for the Nintendo Channel is to update a feature on the Channel. The feature is to let you see if a game your looking at whether it’s a Wii game on disc, from Online WiiWare games, or a Virtual Console game is right for you and to let you see what kind of people are playing it and how many people play it. This is a great feature if you really want to get a game but are not to sure that if it’s the right one for you and maybe there are other games you can get if you decide that the one you looked up wasn’t right for you. Now the other update is for the Wii Menu but there isn’t anything different about it so far that I can see but it does allow you to do something more on the Mii Channel. Due to the update now you can add any of your Mii’s from the Mii Plaza to the Mii Parade so it can travel from your Wii to other’s Wii without waiting for a long time or without knowing if it did or not. Great update for all people that like to make Mii’s and want to share it with other people. One of the things that was kinda odd was after reading the little message that Nintendo sent about the update is when upgrading to the new version of the Wii Menu it will check to see if there are any save files on the Wii System Memory that were made using a cheating device and will erase any that are found because Nintendo thinks that affect the Wii in some way. So for any of you that use Action Replay or any of those cheating device for the Wii might not want to upgrade or else your saves might be lost.

Now they talked about how Wal-Mart is giving out a great deal because of Father’s Day, since it’s coming up they are giving customers a $100 gift card when you buy a PS3 this week. When I saw this I decided to check out there website and I checked and saw that they had the $100 gift card offer on the PS3 and the bundles they offered on there website but I also decided to check the weekly ad and saw that they had it there too so it’s also available in store.
Get a Free Audio Book

Are you tired of reading books? Me too. Over the years, I developed pulpuslaceratapohobia - and the only known cure for that is Audible. Finally, a way to digest words without actually having to read them. Professional voices are wonderful choices if you love literary works in audio format. Are you ready to read some audio books? Maybe you should just listen to them instead.

VMware and Parallels for Virtual Machines

It doesn't matter if you're running on Windows or Mac OS X - every power user needs either Parallels or VMware (or both). There's never been an easier way to test software without destroying your primary operating system's stability. Think of how many times you wish you could press a 'reverse' button on your computer. Plus, there's no easier way to try new Linux distributions - see what all the fuss is about. Run Windows in OS X, run Linux in Windows, but the best way to do either is with VMware and/or Parallels.
