Resistance 2 Beta

A while back I signed up to be in the Resistance 2 beta that is out right now and a couple of days ago I got an email from Sony sending me a code so I could download and play the beta.

I have played the first Resistance game and I really didn’t like it that much. I don’t know; I guess I didn’t like the recovery system since you always get hit and it was really hard to recover health and that’s what pushed me away from the game. This time around with Resistance 2, I gotta say it’s way better, they fixed the recovery system; if you are by yourself and if you are with a group of people they have ways for you to recover health.

The beta allows you to play either Cooperative or Competitive. On Cooperative you can play on a team with other people trying to do objectives as you take down computer played enemies. This game really makes you work together with your team because if you don’t you will most likely die and fail. As for Competitive this mode is just like other First Person Shooters when it comes to multiplayer, you are on a team with other people and you are trying to kill the other team, the team with the most kills wins.

This beta really makes me want to try out the full version of the game now that I have tried out the game with all my friends and I think playing the campaign with friends will be a lot of fun. I will have to see if I will get the game when it comes out in a couple of weeks.
