Since finding out that the Walk Hard movie would have the BD-Live extras in the Blu-ray disc I decided to get the movie on Blu-ray disc instead of DVD, because I wanted to try out the BD-Live feature on the disc. The new feature allows you to download some extra content if you have your Blu-ray player (mines my PS3) with BD-Live support and is connected to the internet. The features are extra scenes from the movie and some guy talking about the meaning of some of the songs, also you can watch some upcoming Blu-ray disc trailers and movie theater trailers. I also decided to read the FAQs in the menu and it said that they would put more content as time goes on so that’s nice to hear. For one of the first Blu-ray disc to have the BD-Live ability it’s not bad for there first time so if you want some extra features and want to watch the movie in HD get the Blu-ray version. Even if you can’t watch Blu-ray movies they do have the DVD version of this movie and I would recommend this movie if you went to watch it in the theaters because they added a lot of parts to the movie from the theater version, almost a extra 30 minutes of new stuff and I would recommended this movie to all those people that are fans of Superbad, Knocked Up, or the 40 Year Old Virgin because this was made from the same guys that made those movies so you might like this movie too.
