The Legend of Zelda: Phamtom Hourglass Review

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is a really great Nintendo DS game, it takes full advantage of the DS features. The way you move Link is really different from the past Zelda titles you have to use the stylist to move him around as well as use his sword and his other items. This title is a sequel from the Nintendo Gamecube title The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker it takes place right after that title (except I wonder where Link’s boat went because when you start the game your on the Pirate Ship from Wind Waker). This time Link and Tetra and the rest of her pirate crew are traveling when they come across a Ghost Ship, they want to know what is inside of it so Tetra decides to go aboard the ship and check it out but as soon as she gets on the ship she disappears then Link goes after her to try to save her but he falls in the water. Then Link wakes up on a island and then meets a fairy named Ciela and now Link must go on another quest to save Tetra. I don’t want to spoil the game so if your really interested you should play it but I will tell you why I liked this game. The way you use your DS to play the game was pretty cool, you had to blow stuff out the way by blowing into the mic, you have to map you where your going to go by drawing with the stylist a line from where your boat is to the place you want to go, also items u need to use the sylist for it for example the Boomerang if you want to make it move in a circle you draw and circle and it does it. I found all the controls to be cool there would only be one problem people would have is a mini game in the game. The mini game ask you to shoot with your arrows certain shots so you can get a prize but it was really hard even after a couple of tries but its a good things its not a part of the game and just a mini game or people would really have a problem with that part. There’s also online for this game its kinda like Four Swords Adventure game where you battle in mini games against other Link’s so theres another reason to get this game. I really enjoyed this game and I would recommend this game to anyone thats a Zelda fan and a DS owner its that good.
