Windows SteadyState

Just heard a podcast about this Microsoft freeware application if you want to call it that today. SteadyState is designed to be used on public computers or machines that have a lot of traffic. The program allows you to set restrictions much like you could in Group Policy Editor but in a much simpler fashion. Everything from disabling usb write privileges to blacklisting programs are supported by SteadyState. It can also be configured to return the c:drive to a predefined state after a user logs off or at a certain time.
