Ok so I have had dual monitors for quite some time now and I have grown to like it, and I really love it because you can multi task and get more things done. Now I am going to tell you how to setup dual monitors for your laptop.

Step 1. Make sure you have a working laptop with a VGA plug in and a working monitor with a VGA cable.

Step 2. Now that you have all of your things you need to setup dual monitors, it’s time to use them. First plug in the VGA cable into your monitor and your laptop. Then plug in the power cable into the nearest electric outlet.

Step 3. Now turn on your monitor. Now right click on your laptop and click properties. Once the Properties window pops up you go to the settings tab. Now you should see two boxes with a number 1 and number 2 in each of them. Click on the box with the number 2, then check the box that says “Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor.” Then click apply.

If all goes well your should see your desktop background on your dual monitor and you can move your mouse over to it.

I hope this helps anyone wondering how to setup dual monitors.
