Outlook – Forward Multiple Email Messages at Once
I often find myself forwarding email messages to other people. When I need to forward multiple messages, I combine them into a single message which is much more efficient than having to forward multiple messages. Outlook 2010 makes it simple to combine multiple messages and forward them as a single email.
Let’s take a look at a scenario where this feature might be useful. A new person joins my project team. I have six emails that I need to share with this individual to bring them up to speed on the project. I can forward each message individually or I can group all six emails together and forward them in a single email. The latter is much more efficient and probably much easier for the new team member because he/she only needs to open a single email to access the project related messages.
To forward multiple emails as a single message in Outlook 2010:
- Within Outlook, select one of the messages that you want to forward.
- While holding down the CTRL key, select any additional messages you want to forward.
- On the Home tab, within the Respond group, click the Forward option.
Outlook automatically adds the messages you selected in step 1 and 2 as an attachment in a new message. Finally enter the address(es) to which you want to forward the messages to in the To: field and press Send. Definitely much easier than forwarding each message individually.
