Transpose Data From A Row To A Column In Excel

There should be an image here!If you’ve entered data in four rows and four columns but want to transpose or switch the data so the row labels become column headings, you can do so without having to re-type the data. To do so, select the entire data range. Press CTRL + C to select the data.

Next, click the drop down arrow below the Paste button and click Paste Special. From the Paste Special window, click the Transpose option. Click OK.

Excel automatically transposes the row/column labels along with the data.
