Access The On-Screen Keyboard In Windows 7

As with its predecessors, Windows 7 includes an on-screen keyboard, which means you don’t have to rely on the physical keyboard. You might find the on-screen keyboard handy if you have impairments or if your normal keyboard is under repair. You can easily access the on-screen keyboard by clicking Start, typing OSK and pressing Enter. A virtual keyboard immediately appears on your desktop.

To open the on-screen keyboard in Windows 7, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, click Ease of Access and click On-Screen Keyboard. If you want to use the numeric key pad to enter number with the On-Screen Keyboard, you need to turn on the numeric key pad. Within the on-screen keyboard, click Options and select the Turn on numeric key pad option. Then click OK.
