Maximize Screen Space In IE 8

Internet Explorer 8 has many new features, many of which are hidden and not so obvious. One such hidden feature is the extendable screen size. Although the menu bar in IE has its uses, it does take up valuable screen space. If you’re more interested in screen space than the functionality of the menu bar, you can remove it from view.

To remove the menu bar in IE 8:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. From the View menu, point to Toolbars and click Menu Bar. The menu bar is removed from the IE window.
3. To bring the menu bar back, simply click the Alt key.
