Wrap Text Around A Table In Word 2007
If you work with pictures and images in Word, you are likely familiar with the text-wrapping feature, which lets you configure how the picture or image appears with the text around it. What you may not know is that you can also use the text-wrapping feature with your tables. For example, you can configure text to appear around a table as opposed to just above and below.
To wrap text around a table in Word 2007:
- Within your document, select the table for which you want to configure text wrapping.
- Under Table Tools, on the Layout tab, within the Table group, click Properties.
- Under Text Wrapping, click Around.
- Click Positioning under Text Wrapping to configure additional options such as: horizontal and vertical positioning of the table, distance of the table from surrounding text, etc.
