Cinch

Some people try to say that communicating online using audio isn’t the most effective way to communicate, but that isn’t always true. Sometimes audio is a great way to get your points across, but we’ve all become so obsessed with using text, pictures, and videos to communicate that we sometimes forget that a simple audio message can go a long way. The last time I checked, voicemail is still something that we rely on, and this concept of audio messages can be applied online in an even greater way because we can reach a global audience using the Internet. Cinch is a service that enables you to use your voice to post messages for your friends and followers, but there’s more to it than just that.

Instead of just being able to publish content on the Cinch site itself, you can also share your messages through Twitter, Facebook, and beyond. The service also provides an iPhone app and even a phone number that you can use to get your messages out there. Although there does seem to be a focus on audio, you can use Cinch to share text and pictures, and this integration helps you to cover your bases. Of course, it’s not just all about producing content but also seeing what others are sharing, and this can be done with Cinch.
