Lists are a great way to document ordered steps, draw attention to a series of items or actions, etc. Chances are, when you take notes, you will at some point want to create a list. OneNote lets you create both bulleted and numbered lists in your notes.
To create a bulleted list:
- On the Formatting toolbar, click the Bullets icon.
- Type the text you want for the first item in the list, and then press Enter.
- A new bullet for the next list item is created automatically. Repeat step 2 for each additional list item.
- To end the bulleted list and continue typing a regular paragraph, press Enter twice.
To create a numbered list:
- On the Formatting toolbar, click the Numbering button .
- Type the text you want for the first item in the list, and then press Enter.
- A new number for the next list item is created automatically. Repeat step 2 for each additional list item
- To end the numbered list and continue typing a regular paragraph, press Enter twice.
