Which Version Of Word Are You Running?

As you search for tips on how to use Word, you will notice that many of them are specific to a version of Word. If you are just learning how to use Word, you may not know how to find out what version is installed on your computer. You can look at the splash screen that appears as you start Word. However, sometimes the splash screen only is there for a second or two so if you blink, good chance you will miss it.
There is an easier way to find out what version you have. With Word already open, click the Help menu and then About Microsoft Word. The information at the top of the dialog box will tell you what version of Word is installed.
