I love traveling, but I don’t always enjoy the reservation process for things like hotels. It’s fun to browse through your options, but when it becomes time to make a final decision, things start to get a little more complicated. You may think you know what you want, but you may be wrong. Another problem that I’ve experienced with hotels is that I’ve showed up to them only to find that what they’re actually like is way different than the way they were presented online. This is a horrible feeling because you feel like you’ve been fooled. It definitely helps to get as much information from fellow travelers as you can, and a site called Raveable wants to make sure that you know what you’re getting yourself into.
This site pulls together reviews from many of the big travel sites and some smaller but just as influential corners of the Internet and summarizes them so that you can see the good along with the not so good. I like the way Raveable has special lists of hotels based on a specific feature that they offer. Pictures are included, opinions are categorized, and in just a few minutes of scanning text, you’ll know more about the hotels than you would usually know using other resources.
