In a previous tip, I showed you how to create a hyperlink to link to another slide within the same PowerPoint presentation. Hyperlinks in PowerPoint can also be used to link to slides in different presentations.

To create a hyperlink to connect to a slide in a different presentation:

1. Within PowerPoint, switch to Normal view. 
2. Select the text or object that you want to hyperlink.
3. On the Insert tab, within the Links group, click Hyperlink.
4. Under Link to, click Existing File or Web Page.
5. Locate the presentation that contains the slide that you want to link to.
6. Click the Bookmark button.
7. The Select Place in Document window will appear. Select the title of the slide that you want to link to. Click OK.
8. Click OK.
