Noobis Inc., an InternetArray company, has released ShirtShop, a Facebook application that allows users to design and market T-shirts. The initial target is students returning to class this Fall. Fraternities, sororities, clubs, organizations, and other school groups will be able to earn money while selling shirts they design and promote to their members and friends.
“Successful applications allow for user generated content that can be spread virally through the social graph,” stated Jon Brennan, President and CEO of Noobis. “ShirtShop does that by giving users the ability to design their own shirt, promote it to their friends, and even profit from the sale of their own designs.”
Shirts are available in a wide variety of colors and sizes starting at $15, including shipping and handling. Designers will make $2 per shirt they sell. You can learn more about the application and install it by visiting this link.

As one of my art teaches once said to me the devil is in the contract not the just the details. If I am getting just $2 a shirt what happens to my copy rights on that design? Do get to keep my work as mine? how much do I lose over letting them print my work?
I worked as a freelance graphic artist and did work in T-Shirt designs and i can tell you I made much more on my work then $2. I like the idea of letting people do this kind of stuff and make money but I get this gut feeling the companies that do this stuff make more then the artist and on good T design you can a lot of money off some one art work of slogan. I think this great for people who want to make a some shirts for a business or event but not to make money from and not to use art work you can’t afford to lose the copy rights to. I will read into the site and review the agreement stuff and let all know if this site to trust for more than light work . I like the idea as i said of site to get people shirts with your work on them but as an artist of more than 40 years I just like to protect my and other work.
