There are a lot of people who are all about using collaboration tools to simplify the process of working together with other people, and while many of these tools are truly helpful, I guess I’m kind of old-fashioned because sometimes I feel like they complicate things. If I have to go in eight different directions to make something happen, then what’s really being accomplished? As crazy as my e-mail is, I still usually prefer to use e-mail to work with a group of people. What can I say, I just can’t give it up. With that said, the way we use e-mail to collaborate can be improved through tgethr.
Instead of sending messages to a bunch of different people, you can use tgethr to create a single group e-mail address that reaches every member of that group. The next time that you want to send something to all of those recipients, just address your message to that one unique e-mail address. Or you could just do the smart thing, get a Mac, add your contacts into Address Book, and then create a group so that you can e-mail to the group.
Much like the people at tgethr.com (look at their images).
