Tweetvisor

Twitter has become one of those things that people can’t help but know about these days. Facebook and YouTube used to get the most media attention, but Twitter is now attracting the interest of the world. As is the case with anything successful, there are always going to be other things that try and build off of that success, and Twitter has been no exception. Thankfully, a lot of the tools that have been built as extensions to Twitter have in fact been very useful. Tweetvisor is one such tool that actually seems to work better than Twitter’s own site.

Yes, Tweetvisor is a Web-based interface for Twitter, so instead of logging into Twitter from the main site, you come here instead. I gave it a try with a couple accounts that I have access to and I was impressed with the presentation of the content. On Twitter’s site, it takes multiple clicks to see everything that you want to see, but Tweetvisor puts everything important in front of your eyes at once so that you know exactly what’s going on. The service is also geared towards making it easier to manage multiple accounts at once, which is nice if your tweets are all over the place. Twitter could probably learn some lessons from Tweetvisor.
