Customize The Appearance Of The Mouse Pointer In Windows 7

Some people find it difficult to see the mouse pointer on the screen – even those with perfect vision. This is certainly understandable given the default size and color of the mouse pointer.

Windows 7 lets you to change the appearance of the mouse pointer so that it is bigger and brighter, thereby easier to see. To change the appearance of the mouse pointer in Windows 7:

  1. Click Start and click Control Panel.
  2. In the search box, type mouse.
  3. Click Mouse.
  4. Select the Pointers tab.
  5. Use the Scheme drop-down list to select a new mouse pointer scheme. The scheme you select will apply to all your mouse pointers.
  6. Alternatively, under Customize, select the pointer you want to change, click Browse, select the pointer you want to use and click Open.
  7. Click OK.

    Tap “Cttrl” and you’ll get a ping at the mouse location to bring it into focus. :^)
