Link To An Email Address From PowerPoint 2007

Hyperlinks in PowerPoint can be used to do more than just connect to Web pages. You can create hyperlinks to connect to slides in the same or in different presentations. You can also use hyperlinks to connect to email addresses. For example, if you are looking for feedback or want to receive questions regarding a presentation, you can create a hyperlink to your email address. When someone clicks the hyperlink, Outlook will open a new mail message.

To create a hyperlink to an email address:

  1. Within PowerPoint, switch to Normal view.
  2. Select the text or object that you want to hyperlink.
  3. On the Insert tab, within the Links group, click Hyperlink.
  4. Under Link to, click Email address.
  5. In the E-mail address box, type the e-mail address that you want to link to, or in the Recently used e-mail addresses box, click an e-mail address.
  6. In the Subject box, type the subject of the e-mail message.
  7. Click OK.
