Customize Autocorrect Options In Word 2007

Microsoft Word is designed to make it very simple for us to create a word document because it corrects some of our spelling and grammar mistakes as we are typing along. This makes it easier for you to focus on content instead of so much on correcting what you type.

As with most things in Word, AutoCorrect options can be customized. For example, if you don’t want Word to automatically format hyperlinks, you can change the AutoCorrect options.

To customize the AutoCorrect options in Word 2007:

  1. Click the Microsoft Office button.
  2. Click Word options.
  3. Click Proofing in the left pane.
  4. Click the AutoCorrect Options button.
  5. From the window that appears, make the necessary changes to the AutoCorrect settings.
