Yes, only if you DO NOT wish to save any of the recordings! That feature is only available after you buy the full version. This is only an evaluation version good for playing with the controls and seeing fancy visual representation of the sounds recorded. Saving to your computer is locked out until you purchase.
Also note that if you are still using just the chipset sound without a sound card added to your system, you do not have the option of recording streaming audio or from players. When it says “ANYTHING PLAYED THROUGH SPEAKERS” it means the sound had to go through a sound card first!
