We know that the Internet connects people from all over the world, but simply being connected isn’t enough. Once connections are made, what comes next? Entire companies and services are built to make these connections meaningful and to provide people with ways to collaborate and truly learn from each other. As someone who plays music, I know that working on music with someone is one of the deepest forms of collaboration that exists. For the longest time, musicians have sat in rooms together and created music, but Indaba Music brings this collaborative process online.
At first, the service seems like any normal social network that enables you to create a profile and share content, but Indaba Music is much more than that because fellow musicians can find your profile, listen to your work, and invite you to one of their collaborative sessions. You may not be in the same room with your peers, but the online studio will make you feel right at home. Everyone works together to produce the perfect song, and the included tools enable you to do what you need to do. Rock on.
