When you add a text box in a Word document, it appears with a border around it. If you want to remove the border, you must change the formatting of the text box.
To remove the border around a text box in Word 2002:
- Click within the text box.
- From the Format menu, click Text Box.
- Click the Colors and Lines tab.
- Under the section labeled Line, click the drop down list beside Color and select No Line.
- Click OK.
