Remove The Border Around A Text Box In Word

When you add a text box in a Word document, it appears with a border around it. If you want to remove the border, you must change the formatting of the text box.

To remove the border around a text box in Word 2002:

  1. Click within the text box.

  2. From the Format menu, click Text Box.
  3. Click the Colors and Lines tab.
  4. Under the section labeled Line, click the drop down list beside Color and select No Line.
  5. Click OK.
