Attach A Template To A Document In Word 2002
If you need to apply consistent formatting across multiple documents, the quickest way is through styles. Define the styles that meet your formatting needs and store them in a Word template. You can then attach the template to multiple documents as described below.
- Open the document to which you want to attach a template.
- From the Tools menu, click the Templates and Add-Ins option.
- Click the Attach button, locate and select the template you want attached to the current document.
- Make sure the Automatically Update Document Styles check box is selected.
- Click OK.
