Move The Position Of Desktop Alerts In Outlook 2007

Outlook 2007 will notify you when a new e-mail message is received. The alert appears above the system tray on your desktop. It will tell you the subject of the e-mail, as well as whom the sender is.

If you don’t want to alert to appear in the bottom left hand corner, you can change the position of it.

  1. Open Outlook 2007.

  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options, and then click Advanced E-mail Options.
  4. Click Desktop Alert Settings.
  5. In the Desktop Alert Settings dialog box, click Preview.
  6. A sample Desktop Alert is displayed on your desktop.
  7. Drag the Desktop Alert to the location that you want.
