Internet Explorer (IE) 7 will automatically adjust the size of pictures to fit within your browser so you don’t have to scroll up and down to view the entire image. This is referred to as ‘automatic image resizing’.
The downside of this is that the quality of certain graphics may be reduced. You can resize the graphic by hovering your mouse pointer over the lower right corner of the graphic. Another option is to disable Automatic Image Resizing to revert to full sized images and view them in their original format.
To disable automatic image resizing in IE7:
- Open Internet Explorer
- On the Toolbar, click Tools and then click Internet Options.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Scroll to the Multimedia section.
- Uncheck the Enable Automatic Image Resizing option.
- Click OK.
