Just emailed you to ask what you think about Firefox Elite. Its something I made today, and it’s basically Firefox bundled with Java, Flash Player, and Firefox personas. The ultimate aim is to make it easier for people to get started on the Web, so that they can install Windows, install Firefox Elite, and be ready to do anything. In the next version I will be tweaking Firefox to make Internet browsing twice as fast, following instructions from an online guide I found for hacking it to make it faster. This will make it convenient for people wanting to make Firefox faster as they can just download Firefox Elite and it will be pre-hacked to be twice as fast.
It can be found here, if you’d like to give it a try. It’s currently for Windows only, but that might change at some point in the future.

I think with a new Firefox version being released in the next month or so, I’d avoid doing anything that might result in incompatibility later. Better to get a copy of 3.5b4 and tweak that.

Installing fireFox 3 was a HUGE mistake considering how horrible the color rendering is. I’m not partial to blue faces when Firefox 2 works fine.
Has anyone else run into this problem and has Firefox 3 now been fixed???

I have tried this new Firefox and it’s great. It has all the features of Firefox 3.10 . The Elite Firefox is twice fast and has a more colorful toolbar. I would recommend it.

Backup your settings like bookmarks etc. from your current version before downloading.
