Chris, I’ve followed you from your Tech TV days (now G4 tV) and you continue to get better and better. Kudos to you for your plus sized woman’s page, an entire page! I used to be big, beautiful woman, but because of illness today, I’m a mere bag of bones. It’s nice of you to provide this info for the Big Girls of the World (WE ROCK!). Anyway, I’ve a special request for you. No one can help me with the attached issue and I’m reaching out to you as a longtime fan and desperate SOHO. Someone attempted to send a gynormous MP3 file (lots of music) via my Outlook Express 6 account which is stuck in my OUTBOX since 4/8/09. I can’t send or receive email or faxes using outlook via my ISP, Verizon DSL When I contacted Verizon and requested they clear the server of this message they told me to contact my PC manufacturer (for an application issue?). I did, and for a per minute fee I could get international tech support from India…not an option. This is my major problem, however I have Verizon webmail and Yahoo email accounts that I can use, but I use the Outlook Express for business purposes. I don’t want to remove the application because i have an email with an email with an attachment of a telephone conversation with a R&B singer superstar announcing I’d won his contest to see him in concert in London, England in the INBOX and I don’t want to delete that. Can you please help me fix this problem and tell me how I can send/receive faxes again? Also, is there an archive of all the cool stuff you used to do on Tech TV (like making Tee-shirts and personalized mugs) I can’t remember the name of your old show for PC/Mac Newbies but I work with a group of visually impaired kids and would love to teach some PC based creations like you used to on the show for Mothers/Father’s Day/Birthday gifts. Just my way of giving back. I’m attaching an edited screenshot of the LiveChat I had with emachines (useless banter pushing the per minute service) for your review. Please help me Chris, the attachment is the only thing I have of my trip to London, my photos/videos were ruined thanks to Customs and I need someone to help me. Thanks for being the great guy you are, and I’m still watching you via Lockergnome. Best regards, Carol Madden, lpsnhpsdiva@verizon.net or queendivacdm@yahoo.com

LIVECHAT WITH EMACHINES
My problems are first that I use I cannot send or receive email or faxes via Outlook Express 6 because a file is stuck in the OUTBOX and needs to be cleared. I use Verizon DSL, my ISP, to send or receive email and faxes and need to do so ASAP. Verizon already instructed me to contact the PC manufacturer emachines/gateway regarding this. When I had dial up service, I could send and receive faxes without any issues. I need a website or set of CD/DVD or a remote scan system to see if I have all the latest drivers and system updates for the emachine W3052. I also need to create a back up emergency boot DVD since I have WinXP home, I cannot do so unless you can instruct me how. I need the system diskettes which used to come with newly purchased machines in case your system is corrupted or you can’t boot into Windows. This happened to my old system and I lost very important business data which I could not recover because HP tech support told me I needed to access the D: drive but how could I access D when I couldn’t boot into Windows at all? The CDs I requested several times prior to this incident were finally sent to me but it was too late; I’d already lost three contracts because of time. I never want this to happen again–what a nightmare and great financial distress atop everything else. What happens when you can’t boot up the computer to access that partition, are not PC savvy, confident or visually impaired like me and can’t remove drives or access BIOS? I purchased this machine in 2005 or 2006 prior to my cancer diagnosis but was too sick to set it up because of ongoing breast cancer issues until this January. My vision is 20/150 in both eyes which is near blind and i remain under medical care. Can you please help me? I HAVE NO ONE ELSE TO HELP ME. THANK YOU.
