What Do You Think Of Windows 7?

Hi!
I just wonder what you think of Windows 7; many people are already saying they don’t like it. I, on the other hand, have been using it since it first came out as beta and I love it.
Windows Vista is still the most powerful version of Windows currently available, though I think it’s too powerful for the needs of most people. I think its bad reputation comes from hogging 1 GB of RAM just to run — systems only a couple of years old will find this strain on resources too demanding and their users just wind up frustrated as a result. If you’ve got 6 GB of RAM and a 64 bit system, you probably love Vista!
It’s not even an XP vs. Vista thing, either: I tried the Windows XP 64 bit and it was a disaster from the beginning. I think I could bear with it for like two days until I changed back to XP 32 bit. My GPU totally flipped, and textures in games were flashing between black and white and colored.
Anyway, back to Windows 7. Since I installed it, I haven’t been happier about an OS. I mean just to be able to load drivers from Vista, XP, or even the older ones like 98 and NT is refreshing.
You actually don’t even have to install drivers: it is an automatic process. Sure, the installation of the system itself will take ten minutes longer than XP, but how many times would you otherwise need to restart your computer to install all of the updates to drivers? And sometimes you might run into a problem like I did — I accidentally moved my computer icon from the start menu to the start menu field three times and wound up with three icons I couldn’t remove until I communicated with Microsoft directly. Microsoft fixed this bug a few updates later.
Just a good tip for people to send feedback for things they don’t like! It’s the only way developers will learn.
