BubbleTweet

It’s only a matter of time until a new online service comes along that takes our attention away from talking about Twitter so much, but as of right now, Twitter is still where it’s at and will continue to be a useful communication tool even after the buzz dies down. Every Twitter user has their own community of followers that they speak to on a regular basis, but sometimes you may want to go beyond text and actually talk to your followers. You can link to video and audio recordings from Twitter, but BubbleTweet enables you to talk to visitors on your Twitter page.

That description is a little deceiving because BubbleTweet uses a different URL and overlays your Twitter page with a video message. Either way, you can use the service to record a floating video message that greets visitors to your Twitter page. In order for this to work, they’ll have to arrive through the BubbleTweet URL, and when your message is finished, they’ll be brought to your actual Twitter page. Despite the hoops that have to be jumped through, the process is fairly seamless and gets the job done.
