Link To Another Slide In A Different PowerPoint 2002 Presentation

In a previous tip, I showed you how to create a hyperlink to link to another slide within the same PowerPoint presentation. Hyperlinks in PowerPoint can also be used to link to slides in different presentations.
To create a hyperlink to connect to a slide in a different presentation using PowerPoint 2002:
- Within PowerPoint, switch to Normal view.Â
- Select the text or object that you want to hyperlink.
- Click the Insert menu.
- Click Hyperlink.
- Under Link to, click Existing File or Web Page.
- Browse to and select the presentation that contains the slide that you want to link to.
- Click the Bookmark button.
- The Select Place in Document window will appear. Select the title of the slide that you want to link to. Click OK.
- Click OK.

It might be nice to note that Microsoft offers as a free download a powerpoint veiwer. Many people get pps files as e-mail attachments. (Currently, it is the plane down in the Hudson river) Some save them hoping someday they will find something that will allow them to see them. I have been passing my copy arround to all my friends and they are very happy with the results.
