Link To Another Slide In The Same PowerPoint 2002 Presentation

In a previous tip, I showed you how to create a connection to another slide in your presentation using a hyperlink in PowerPoint 2007. However, not everyone has upgraded to the most recent version of Microsoft Office. If you are running an older version of PowerPoint, such as 2002, you can still use create links to other slides. The steps are just slightly different.
To create a hyperlink to connect to another slide in your presentation using PowerPoint 2002:
- Within PowerPoint, switch to Normal view.
- Select the text or object that you want to hyperlink.
- Click the Insert menu.
- Click Hyperlink.
- Under Link to, select Place in This Document.
- Under Select a place in this document, click the slide that you want to use as the hyperlink destination.
- Click OK.
