Link To Another Slide In The Same PowerPoint 2007 Presentation

Most presentations that I see use hyperlinks to connect to specific Web pages. However, what many people don’t know is that hyperlinks can be created for reasons other than just connecting to a Web page.

In PowerPoint, you can add a hyperlink that will connect you to another slide in the same presentation. For example, if an object or text makes reference to content on another slide, you can easily jump to that slide by creating and clicking the hyperlink.

To create a hyperlink to connect to another slide in your presentation:

  1. Within PowerPoint, switch to Normal view.
  2. Select the text or object that you want to hyperlink.
  3. On the Insert tab, within the Links group, click Hyperlink.
  4. Under Link to, select Place in This Document.
  5. Under Select a place in this document, click the slide that you want to use as the hyperlink destination.
  6. Click OK.
