Set Up Your PowerPoint 2002 Presentation To Run Unattended
PowerPoint lets you set up a presentation without requiring any user interaction – meaning you don’t have to be standing there clicking the mouse to advance through the slides. This is particularly useful of you want a presentation to run on a kiosk.
To have a presentation run unattended, you need to set up automatic timings (I outlined how to do this in a previous tip), navigation links or action – otherwise your presentation will not advance beyond the first slide.
To set up a presentation to run without any user interaction:
- Within PowerPoint, click the Slide Show tab.Â
- Click Set Up Show.
- Click the Browsed at a kiosk (full screen) option. Notice that once you select this option, the Loop continuously until ‘Esc’ option is also enabled.
- Click OK.
