The Internet has helped to simplify a lot of the things that we do, but in many ways it’s also complicated our lives. If there is any way that a service can be developed to help you do something, it’ll be done even if it doesn’t need to be done. For example, a few years ago, whenever you wanted to invite someone to do something, you told them in person, gave them a call, sent them an e-mail, or wrote them an invitation. Now a variety of Web services are trying to tell us that we need to use their complicated online invitation management systems that actually waste more time than they save. Anyvite does things the right way.

Invitations are a simple thing, and Anyvite treats them in that way. You can create an invitation and invite your friends easily enough, and the extra features actually support your mission to do all of this without getting a headache. You’ll appreciate the ability to import contacts, and it’s nice to be able to share pictures and videos with everyone after the event. These days, less really is more.
