Disable Access To Context Menus In Vista

When you right click an object, such as a folder, application or other icon, the context menu appears. Given that when some of the commands available on the context menu are used incorrectly, they can have negative effects on your computer, you may want to disable access to this menu all together.
For example, you can disable access to the Start Menu and Taskbar context menus using the steps listed below.
- Open the Group Policy Editor.
- Navigate to User Configuration / Administrative Templates / Start Menu and Taskbar.
- In the details pane, enable the Remove access to the context menus for the taskbar.
- Restart your computer or type gpupdate /force at the command prompt.
