I have written many, many tips that require you to make changes to the Windows Registry. If you have followed many of these tips, you are more than aware of the dangers of editing the Registry and the negative effects that can result if you do not know what you are doing.
Although the Registry Editor is an invaluable tool, I recommend that you only permit access to computer administrators. You can prevent access to registry editing tools using the steps described below.
- Open the Group Policy Editor.
- Navigate to User Configuration / Administrative Templates / System.
- In the details pane, enable the Prevent access to registry editing tools policy option.

I am grateful for all your helps that you share with us, thank you so much.
I have seen you ask to open the “Group Policy Editor”, but I can’t find it on my Visa screen. I have Visa Home Premium Addition.
