Here is another great tip that a Lockergnome reader recently shared with me. Given that I spend so much time working with drawing objects in Word, I found it to be very helpful and thought I would pass it along.
Creating a mirror image of an object on your Word document is not as painful as you may think is to be. Once you create a copy of the object, you can use the Rotate or Flip command to create the mirror image as described below:
- Within your document, click the AutoShape that you want to mirror.
- From the Edit menu, click Copy and then click Paste.
- On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, point to Rotate or Flip, and then click Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical.
- Drag and position the duplicate object so that it mirrors the original object.
