Bestselling author of all time, Agatha Christie, was born today in 1890. Known for a lifetime of writing whodunit novels featuring famous creations Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple (among others), Christie’s life was not without its own mysteries. An amnesiac episode in which she disappeared for 11 days in 1926 is still unexplained.
If she’d not taken such mysteries to the grave, Agatha Christie would be 118 today. Happy birthday, Dame Agatha!
Editor’s Note: Yes, this was supposed to go out yesterday (September 15th), but we were having some technical issues. Many apologies!
