Include Shortcut Keys In Screen Tips In Word 2002

Word includes many different shortcut keys that you can use to perform tasks, instead of using a mouse. Unfortunately, with so many shortcuts available, it is difficult to learn and remember any of them. It may be helpful then, if you are just getting familiar with shortcut keys, to have Word display them in any Screen Tips. This will help you to become familiar with the shortcut keys associated with various tasks.

To configure Word to display shortcut keys in Screen Tips:

  1. Within Word, click Customize from the Tools menu. The Customize dialog box will appear
  2. Click the Options tab.
  3. Click the Show Shortcut Keys in ScreenTips option.
  4. Click Close.
