Wet blanket time again. Your trusty site-safety checker is on the job. Car-auction.com is an unsafe site (per McAfee SiteAdvisor). At the very least, USE CAUTION. Here is some feedback from another user:
“This is one of many ‘records database’ scams run by Michael Delrue. This site supposedly assists you in finding government auctions of seized vehicles. The ‘government seized vehicle’ scam is older than the internet itself.
On people-search.com (another Michael Delrue scam), you will see ’search residents from any country in the world by selecting it from the drop-down list.’ Amazing! Does any other site do this? Do places like Azerbaijan, Chad and Mongolia even allow access to records by foreigners? For that matter, do they even have records at all? I guess you’ll need to pay Michael $29.99-39.99 to find out.
