Word lets you create your own templates that you can use to create documents. As you begin experimenting with templates, you may wish to make changes to one after you have saved it. The important point to remember is that you need to open the actual template to make changes to it, not a document based on the template.
To make changes to an existing template:
- Open Word 2007.
- Click the Microsoft Office button and click Open.
- Browse to the location where the template is stored. Select the template and click Open.
- Make your changes to the template, and then save it.
