I just received a 1TB WD MyBook that came with a built in backup software. Amazing little piece of software that will keep all changes up to date and keep multiple copies if you like.

Hello,
I have used NovaStor’s NovaBack for Windows for quite some time and been quite happy with it. It is one of the few backup programs which supports tape drives under Microsoft Windows Vista.
Another good program for file synchronization is 2BrightSpark’s SyncBackSE.
