Pick Up At Your Last Edit In Word

Microsoft Word includes a hidden secret that you can use to quickly get started editing any of your Word documents. If you open a document you were previously editing the last time you used Microsoft Word, you can use a specific keystroke to jump to your last edits. This keystroke is also handy when you are browsing through a large Word document while in the process of editing your text. Instead of scrolling up or down to locate where you left off with your last edit of the document, just use the keystrokes. By pressing SHIFT + F5, Word will take you to where you were last working in the document, even if you closed it in between edits.

I tried this in Word 2007 and it didn’t work. I tried it both with and without track changes. Is there some other setting that I need to check?

this was a feature i used every day in the previous version of word. it doesn’t appear to work in 2007, and i’m pretty steamed about it. if anyone finds a trick to make it work, i’d love to hear about it.
