Pick Up At Your Last Edit In Word

Word includes a hidden secret that you can use to quickly get started editing your documents. If you open a document that you were previously editing the last time you used Word, you can use a specific keystroke to jump to your last edits. This is also handy when you are browsing through a large document while editing. Instead of scrolling up or down to locate where you left off with your last edit, just use the keystrokes. By pressing SHIFT + F5, Word will take you to where you were last working in the document.

I tried this in Word 2007 and it didn’t work. I tried it both with and without track changes. Is there some other setting that I need to check?

this was a feature i used every day in the previous version of word. it doesn’t appear to work in 2007, and i’m pretty steamed about it. if anyone finds a trick to make it work, i’d love to hear about it.
