Turn On Track Changes In Word 2007

- Add a Comment
If multiple users are working on the same document, you may be required to track your changes. This means that any changes you make to a document are then visible to other users. This fits into the whole editing process where your changes to a document can be seen, accepted, or even rejected.
To enable the Track Changes feature in Word:
- Open the Word document that you need to revise.
- On the Review tab, in the Tracking group, click the Track Changes image.
As you begin making changes to your document, they will appear in a different color, making it obvious to another user that they are changes. You can change the color as well as other formatting options that changes are displayed in by clicking arrow beside Track Changes and clicking Change Tracking Options.

Thank you Diana. I had a track changes button on XP and I had no clue how to get this onto the toolbar with Vista and of course no Help availability for these kinds of questions with Vista.
A million thanks.

Getting the review tab info off the document is my problem, I have several documents that have been changed and saved after accepting all of the changes, but every time that I re-open the document the sidebar changes are still there how do I remove them once I have accepted the changes and re saved the document?
