Dear Chris,
Recently it has come to my attention that belligerent leaders are having trouble suppressing the various atrocities that they commit. This exposure is thanks to the Internet, which enables bloggers to write about and inform the world of the activities of malevolent dictators. Examples of bloggers exposing their pernicious leaders range from China to Egypt. Unfortunately in response to such exposure, the governments of these countries have been arresting bloggers (more information here). These bloggers are making it harder for the governments of oppressive countries to break international human rights and indoctrinate their populations.
We’re living in a century where the power of the Internet can save lives and alleviate poverty. As an avid watcher of your videos I feel that you could engage in further discussion about such issues. Technology is continually becoming a part of politics; it would only be appropriate that someone so qualified in the field of technology discusses its impact on politics. Technology can vastly improve people’s lives, but whether it does is up to us.
