Edit The Normal Template In Word 2007

When you open a new document, Word applies the font style, views, and so on found in the Normal.dot template. If you don’t care for the formatting and other options configured in the template, they can be changed.
To edit the Normal template in Word 2007:
- Click the Microsoft Office button.
- Click Open.
- Click Templates
- Double click the Normal template.
- Make your changes and click Save on the toolbar.

Ms. Huggins - Thank you so much for this tip “Edit The Normal Template In Word 2007.” For several months I have had the same problem and was unable to figure out how to remedy it. Every time I would open a new Word 2007 document, instead of it being a clean blank document, it would contain text (text I recognized as a document I had saved previously). I can’t believe this was such an easy fix for a problem that has been plaguing me for several months. Thanks again, you are awesome!
