Word includes a zoom option that lets you get a close-up view of your document or a reduced view. If you have a preferred zoom setting, you can save the setting in a document or template. By doing so, the document or template will always open with the same zoom setting.
To save your zoom setting in Word 2007:
- Open the document or template that you want to save with a particular zoom setting.
- On the View tab, in the Zoom group, click Zoom.
- Choose your preferred zoom setting.
- Add and delete a single space in the document or template.
- Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Save.
Note: If you open a document or template for the sole purpose of saving a zoom setting, you have to make a small change for the zoom setting to be saved. Simply add and delete a single as described in step 4 above.
